Bestseller Book Club In-Person

Join our Bestseller Book Club, where each month we will read a recent or new bestseller and discuss it in person here at the library! Led by Librarian Caitlin, this month we will be reading North Woods by Daniel Mason. In this novel, a young couple fleeing a Puritan colony settles in a cabin in the woods that becomes home to a series of strange and diverse characters. These include an English soldier who forsakes war for apple growing, spinster twins navigating personal turmoil, a crime reporter uncovering an ancient mass grave, and various other colorful figures, both human and nonhuman. As the residents grapple with love, mystery, and the forces of nature they begin to realize that the dark, yet beautiful, past is very much alive.
